Will AI change what I meant to say?
No. All modes preserve your original meaning. Smart Polish and Grammar Fix only improve structure and correctness. Business Style and Academic modes change tone but not substance. If you want zero changes, use Standard mode (raw transcription).
Can I use AI enhancement without translation?
Yes. Set LinguaVox to Enhance mode — speak in English, get AI-polished English. Translation and enhancement are independent features you can use separately or together.
Is my voice recorded or stored?
No. Audio is processed in real time through our Cloudflare Worker and sent to OpenAI Whisper for transcription. Nothing is stored — not audio, not transcriptions, not your text. Your API key is encrypted AES-256-GCM and never exposed client-side.
How much does AI enhancement cost?
LinguaVox has a free tier with 20 requests per day at no cost. For unlimited usage, you can connect your own OpenAI API key — you pay OpenAI directly at their standard rates (typically less than $0.01 per request with GPT-4o-mini).
